We did it! All 1's in the concert and sight reading portions of our contest! You should be very proud of all your hard work and focus. Enjoy your weekend, and we will review your comments on Monday.

Welcome to Kealing! We look forward to meeting you and your parents over the next few weeks. Check out the front page on how to join the orchestra for next year whether you are a beginner or an experience player.
I know it's called Spring "Break" but we can't really take a break from our instruments for too long, because we have a big contest right after we get back! I tried to make your practice management easier by outlining all the things we need to fix by the contest, in documents you can find on the Philharmonic orchestra page. Download the document for your instrument section and get to practicing! Thank you for your hard work, get some rest, and come back refreshed and ready to go.
The rain and wind and cold can't stop the Kealing Orchestras! We will be taking the stage tonight at 6PM for our Pre-UIL Contest Concert. Students should be here by 5PM to warm up. We can't wait!
Ms. B Hello Kealing Orchestra Members and Parents!
Due to weather that might occur tomorrow, Mr. Jarrott and I want to let you know of a contingency plan for tomorrow’s Pre-UIL Contest Concert in case of a cancelation of school and after school activities. Only IF THE SCHOOL DAY AND AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES ARE CANCELLED we will plan on doing the Pre-UIL Concert the next day Wednesday March 5th. Same time, same place. Philharmonic members, if we have to do the concert on Wednesday, plan on staying after school for sectionals on Wednesday as well. From recent weather forecasts, we would expect that the ice might only occur in the morning which might only result in a delay. Any ice that might accumulate should be gone by after school time. So IF THERE IS A DELAY of the school day but there are still after school activities we will STILL HAVE THE CONCERT ON TUESDAY. If there is inclement weather which results in a delay/cancellation I WILL BE SENDING OUT AN EMAIL UPDATE on what to expect for either tomorrow or Wednesday. Thank you for your understanding and flexibility on this issue! Ms. Jeni Berecek P.S. Just and aside, when I moved here from Ohio I thought my snow days were over. How wrong I was! |
